Glow in the dark EnduraStripe 

EnduraStripe  aisle tape is the World's most effective glow in the dark heavy duty factory aisle marking material. 

The material is just as tough, just as effective and just as easy to apply as our normal colour range of EnduraStripe  aisle tape but when the lights go off it generates a large amount of safe, glowing light. As with our conventional EnduraStripe  aisle tape range the colour is consistent throughout the entire material,if the top surface or the side is scraped it makes no difference, the colour and photoluminescent properties remain as strong and as visible as ever. It can withstand carts, trucks and just about anything and still provides an effective factory stripe! Our glow in the dark EnduraStripe  is ideal for any factory, warehouse or distribution centre that requires durable line marking and safe lighting in a dark environment. 

The photoluminescent EnduraStripe  can be recharged by either natural or incandescent lighting, our standard roll widths are 50mm, 75mm or 100mm with lengths of 30m, dependent on quantities we can also produce to your required width or length. Various shapes can be produced. EnduraStripe Safety Blue

Designates caution, pertaining specifically to the use of, starting up, or the movement of equipment under repair. Signs indicating the nature of the caution should have blue backgrounds.

Samples of Uses for Safety Blue:

Boilers, elevators, kilns, ovens & vats, piping for protective materials for preventing or reducing hazard of dangerous materials (other than fire fighting)

EnduraStripe  Safety Red

Identifies fire protection equipment. Also signifies "danger" and "stop."

IDENTIFICATION OF CONTENTS OF PIPING SYSTEMS IN INDUSTRIAL PLANTS GENERAL INFORMATION:

The American National Standard “Scheme for the Identification of Piping Systems” provides guidelines for the use of color on piping in plant facilities.

Some general guidelines are:

• Pipes are defined as conduits for the transport of gases, liquids, semi-liquids or plastics.
• This scheme does not cover pipes buried in the ground, or electrical conduits.
• The standard considers legend (written description of contents) to be primary. Color coding is considered secondary.
• Positive identification of the content of a piping system shall be by lettered legend giving the name of the contents in full or abbreviated form.
• Arrows shall be used to indicate direction of flow.
• Legends shall be applied close to valves and adjacent to changes in direction, branches, and where pipes pass through walls or floors, and at frequent intervals on straight pipe runs.
• Identification may be accomplished by stenciling and/or the use of tape.
• Color may be used to identify the characteristic properties of the contents as outlined in the table below using safety colors listed above.

OSHA code 1910.22(b)(2) requires permanent aisles and passageways to be appropriately marked. Peel-&-stick Walkways are the fast and inexpensive solutions for keeping pedestrians safe around tow motor traffic and heavy machinery.

EnduraStripe Lean

EnduraStripe continues to be a growing product range, there are so many advantages to it;

1. The material is a solid piece of 1mm PVC, the colour is homogenous, meaning the colour can never be scratched off, scrape the top of the tape and it does not matter, underneath is the same colour – fantastic durability!

2. It possesses 160mu ( milliunits ) of adhesive, to put that into context the total thickness of the average floor marking tape is around 30mu including the plastic film!  Our adhesive holds firm and, uniquely, we coat the adhesive edge-to-edge, if a tape is going to fail, it will fail on the edge, something EnduraStripe  will not do!

3. The edges are chamfered to prevent any edge lifting.

4. Unlike a conventional floor marking tape it can be removed if required, as it is such a solid and tough piece of plastic it will not fragment so it does allow removal.

5. Unlike paint or a resin system it can be applied whilst staff are still working, in food preparation areas or even sterile environments.  Unlike paint or resins, no fumes are given off, no fluids can escape and it can be walked on immediately after application.

We did feel there was one Achilles heel, something which we thought could have been better.  To create a hazard warning chevron design (red/white or black/yellow) it involved a top surface print, this print could then be removed if one was persistent enough. To prevent this we wanted to encapsulate that print under the material; EnduraStripe  lean was born.

EnduraStripe  lean consists of a fantastically strong under-surface adhesive printed black/yellow or red/white then this is protected by a clear plastic film laminated on the top.  The result?  A floor marking tape that is tough, durable and within the ethos of everything PermaStripe should be!

 The total thickness is 0.83mm, pretty impressive for a laminated material that still needs to be flexible.  It is fully compatible with our EnduraStripe line marking applicatorand is already a popular member of our product range, please do contact usfor samples.You can use this area to showcase additional text or photos.
